1. Not Therapy. Not Clinical Services.
The services, content, programs, and resources provided by Kaizen Catalyst Consulting LLC and Stephanie High are educational and consultative in nature. They are not therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, or any form of licensed clinical mental health treatment.
Stephanie High is a PhD Candidate in Psychology with a specialization in trauma and community resilience, and holds a Master's in Performance Psychology. She operates as a performance psychology and trauma-informed education consultant. She is not a licensed psychologist, licensed counselor, licensed clinical social worker, or any other licensed mental health provider under the laws of Washington State or any other jurisdiction.
Nothing on this website, in any workshop, keynote, group program, or individual consultation constitutes the practice of psychology, psychotherapy, or licensed mental health services.
2. Not a Substitute for Professional Help
The content and services offered through Kaizen Catalyst Consulting LLC are intended to complement — not replace — the care of qualified mental health professionals, physicians, or other licensed providers.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, symptoms of a serious mental health condition, or any situation requiring immediate clinical intervention, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services immediately.
Crisis resources:
National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: 988 (call or text)
Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741
Emergency Services: 911
If you are unsure whether our services are appropriate for your situation, we encourage you to consult with a licensed mental health professional before participating.
3. Educational Content
All content published on kaizencatalyst.com, sportspsychology.coach, and traumainformed.coach — including but not limited to articles, blog posts, video series (Hammock Chats, It's All Mental, Somatic AF), social media content, podcast episodes, free resources, and downloadable materials — is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
This content reflects the research, perspectives, and professional knowledge of Stephanie High as a performance psychology and trauma-informed education consultant. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind — psychological, medical, legal, or financial — and should not be relied upon as such.
Research citations and references to peer-reviewed literature are included for educational context. Findings in psychology and related fields are subject to ongoing revision. Where findings are contested or preliminary, we make reasonable efforts to note this — but cannot guarantee the currency or completeness of all cited research.
4. Testimonials & Results
Testimonials, client stories, and participant feedback shared on this website and across our platforms reflect the individual experiences of those who have participated in Kaizen Catalyst programs, workshops, keynotes, or consultations.
These accounts are genuine and shared with permission. However:
Individual results vary significantly based on personal circumstances, commitment, and a wide range of factors outside our control
Testimonials are not a guarantee, promise, or representation that others will achieve the same or similar outcomes
Participant experiences described in testimonials were not verified by independent third parties
Some testimonials may have been lightly edited for clarity, length, or grammar — the substance and sentiment have not been altered
Nothing in a testimonial should be interpreted as a clinical claim or as evidence of therapeutic efficacy.
5. The Women's Circle
The Women's Circle is a peer support community facilitated by Stephanie High. It is not a therapy group, process group, counseling service, or clinical treatment program of any kind.
Participation in the Women's Circle does not constitute a therapeutic relationship between participants and Stephanie High. The Women's Circle is not a substitute for individual therapy, psychiatric care, or any other licensed clinical service.
Stephanie High facilitates in her capacity as a performance psychology and trauma-informed education consultant. Group norms and boundaries are established collaboratively by participants at the outset of each cohort.
If you are experiencing acute mental health symptoms, active crisis, or require clinical-level support, we strongly encourage you to seek care from a licensed mental health professional. Participation in the Women's Circle does not preclude seeking such care — in many cases, it complements it.
6. Youth Athletic Programs & Minor Participants
Programs, workshops, and consultations involving participants under the age of 18 are subject to additional considerations:
Informed consent from a parent or legal guardian is required prior to participation
Mental skills training and performance psychology education provided to minor athletes is educational and skill-based — it is not clinical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment
Stephanie High is not a licensed clinical provider and does not provide clinical services to minors or adults
Parents and guardians are encouraged to consult with their child's physician or licensed mental health provider if they have concerns about their child's mental health prior to enrollment
All work with minor athletes is conducted in accordance with ethical standards informed by the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP). This does not imply governance, licensure, or oversight by either organization.
7. Sports Psychology & Athletic Performance
Services provided constitute mental skills training and performance psychology education — not clinical sports psychology as practiced by licensed psychologists.
The term "sports psychology" is used on this site in its educational and colloquial sense, consistent with the broader field of mental performance consulting. Stephanie High does not represent herself as a licensed sport psychologist or clinical provider.
Mental skills training is skill-based, educational, and performance-focused. It is not a substitute for clinical assessment or treatment of performance anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, or any other clinical condition that may present in an athletic context.
