Finding Your Passion
Many times we find something that we are good at and begin to ride that wave. We work ourselves to the bone and our passion starts to fade away until we wake up one day not wanting to get out of bed anymore. Does this sound like you?
Finding your passion can be stressful. Especially if you currently don’t particularly like what you are doing. Sometimes external events that we have no control over (oh, like a pandemic?) that begin to make us question everything in our lives.
The biggest question that I’m constantly asked is, “Where do I even begin?”
Below I have outlined some of the most important questions you will ever ask yourself about yourself. Take as much time as you need to answer, don’t rush it. Brainstorm your thoughts and ideas as long as you needed. These questions are not designed to be easy, but to push you to think more deeply about your past and future.
We don’t often get time to reflect on our lives, but it’s time to make time.
Foundational Questions To Find Your Passion:
What activities do you get lost in and you lose track of time?
What can you talk about for hours? (may be multiple subjects)
What are 3 things you want to be remembered for?
If money wasn’t an issue, what would you do with your time?
What do you find fulfilling, meaningful, enjoyable and important in your life?
What drains you, makes you stressed, or feels like a wastes of your time?
Your passion can lead you to discover your purpose in life. It will shape your decision making, goals, and future outlook on life. This will dive you to greater happiness and turn your unknown future into a solid foundation for growth and maturity.
Quit feeling stuck. Start feeling positive about your future!
