It’s normal to have questions when considering performance coaching and skill-building support. This FAQ section is designed to provide clear, thoughtful answers about how I work, what support looks like, and how this approach may fit your goals.
Whether you’re exploring individual coaching, courses, or workshops, these answers are here to help you make an informed, confident decision about next steps.

Clarity.
Support. Compassion.
In performance psychology, “performance” is an umbrella term that encompasses sports, business, and the performing arts.
Rooted in sports psychology, it’s a science-based approach to optimizing how we think, feel, and act under pressure. While it began in athletics, its principles now apply broadly to anyone whose success depends on consistent high-level execution—whether you're an athlete, entrepreneur, healthcare provider, first responder, educator, performer, or skilled tradesperson.
Performance psychology helps you build the mental tools needed to thrive when the stakes are high.
Performance psychology coaching helps you develop the mental skills needed to excel under pressure. It’s grounded in science and tailored to help you improve focus, manage stress, build confidence, and recover from setbacks. Whether you’re an athlete, entrepreneur, or executive, these tools help you consistently show up at your best.
Unlike general coaching, this work is built on evidence-based principles from sports psychology, customized to your unique goals and challenges. With me, you’ll not only walk away with real-world, actionable tools—you’ll also learn some of the underlying science behind why those tools work, so you can use them with confidence and clarity in any high-stakes environment.
Not at all.
While my background includes competitive athletics, my clients today range from leaders and professionals to students and high achievers navigating high-pressure environments.
If you’re showing up in your life, work, or relationships with the desire to grow, perform, and adapt—this work is for you.
Performance psychology coaching is not therapy—it’s forward-focused and skill-based. Therapy explores the past to heal; coaching builds on where you are now to help you optimize performance and resilience.
It also differs from life coaching in that I don’t rely on personal anecdotes or generic advice. My approach is grounded in psychology and neuroscience. This ensures our work is measurable, intentional, and results-driven.
Being trauma-informed means I understand how stress, adversity, and past experiences can shape how we perform, lead, and relate to others. I create a coaching environment rooted in emotional safety, consent, and self-awareness.
This is not trauma therapy—but it is informed by trauma science, meaning we work with, not against, the nervous system and your lived experience.
I work with:
- Athletes seeking mental skills training
- Executives and entrepreneurs under performance pressure
- Teams looking to build cohesion and leadership
- Organizations focused on resilience, retention, and mental agility
- Coaches, creatives, and educators ready to level up their mindset
If you're navigating high expectations and real-world challenges, we’ll work well together.
Each session is tailored to you—but you can expect:
- A safe space to explore what’s getting in the way of optimal performance
- Practical mental skills you can start using right away
- Tools like visualization, mindfulness, goal-setting, stress regulation, and cognitive reframing
- Honest reflection, science-based strategies, and support that meets you where you are
- Sessions are typically 55 minutes, held online or in-person (depending on location), with personalized follow-up.
My coaching focuses on:
- High-performance mindset training
- Trauma-informed leadership
- Mental resilience for entrepreneurs & small business owners
- Focus, confidence, and motivation under pressure
- Burnout recovery and stress management
- Team and organizational culture building
With two decades of experience in business, from corporate leadership to small business ownership, I bring both strategic insight and lived experience to my work. I hold a Master’s in (Sports and) Performance Psychology and am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Psychology, specializing in Trauma and Resilience.
My approach is grounded in science and shaped by life. Having lived and worked internationally, in Japan for 7 years, Mexico for 1 year, and Belize for 6 months, I bring a global, culturally responsive lens to every coaching relationship. Whether you're navigating pressure in the boardroom, on the field, or in everyday life, I help you build the mental tools to perform with purpose, clarity, and resilience.

Compassionate, confidential support designed to help individuals and teams manage stress, regulate emotions, and perform consistently in high-pressure environments.
